The Day Nayul Turns 50 Days Old!!
Nayul has been growing healthily without any major issues for 50 days now, and we're so grateful for that! Usually, people take commemorative photos at 50 days, and we did book a studio for June. However, my wife wanted to capture today's moment, precisely on the 50th day, so we respected her opinion😅. So, let's briefly mention the self-shooting growth blanket my wife bought with her own money and summarize Nayul's 50-day photos~!
My Wife's Love for Idus
My wife loves Idus. Not just this blanket, but she seems to prefer Idus products for events like Parents' Day or birthdays. Below are some of the event items she has purchased from Idus so far..ㅎㅎㅎ From personalized soju bottles for my drinking days to putting 10,000 and 50,000 KRW bills in herbal medicine bags as gifts on Parents' Day. Who wouldn't love such surprise gifts~😅
Growth Blanket
My wife bought this blanket for Nayul's 50-day self-shooting!! She also bought additional growth cards, costing around 40,000 KRW. Personally, I think Idus items are not bad, but they are a bit pricey🤔.
There were four types of blankets, and my wife chose the 'Basic Growth Blanket.' I found out later that if it were up to me, I would have chosen a space or autumn leaves design. (But, respect for personal taste..!! 😅) The growth cards that have been appearing above Nayul's head in photos for the past few days were also purchased from here.
The blanket is designed to check a child's height and age. Its size is 135x100cm, which is quite large, so there was plenty of space to lay Nayul down for photos. It was mentioned that the product has completed KC certification, and upon checking, it was found to be 'compliant' in the product safety information center. If there's certification information on a product for children, it might be good to check it out yourself.
Washing instructions said to hand wash in lukewarm water below 30 degrees using neutral detergent. No dryers! My wife, who had even finished the laundry in advance, started Nayul's 50-day shooting after I got off work. (She tried taking pictures alone while I was at work, but she wasn't satisfied, so she said we should retake them after I got home.. I couldn't refuse😅)

Nayul struggled more than we thought. It was a time to experience firsthand that the timing for taking photos is determined by the baby.
My wife shared a few photos she took, and well, to a dad's eyes, they're just cute😅. Nayul, you worked hard taking photos~ㅎㅎㅎ Anyway.. I guess we should leave such photos to the professionals. I'm looking forward to how they'll capture him in the studio in June!!
