I once posted a list titled 'Hospital Bag for Birth Prepared by a Soon-to-be Dad' a day before our little one was born.
Since it was our first time having any experience related to childbirth, the list was based on products that we thought would be essential after consulting various blogs and YouTube channels. But now, with the benefit of hindsight from our hospital stay experience, I've decided to update the list. The main changes to the original list are outlined below.
※ Please note that this list is based on our experience at Suji Future Maternity Hospital and is specific to C-section deliveries, so the requirements might differ from those for natural births.

Suji Future Maternity Hospital Meal Plan
My wife could only start consuming porridge and light broths the day after the surgery. I was torn between wanting to eat outside and wanting to be by her side. In the end, I opted to order caregiver meals at the hospital so I could stay close. And I must admit, I ate quite well. Every time I was about to finish my meal, my wife jokingly suggested recording the moment. 😅 Below is a video compilation of the meals I had as a caregiver at the hospital.
By the time my wife could eat, the meals served to her were slightly different from mine. Her servings, especially soups, were considerably larger. It seemed like the hospital was encouraging her to eat well, but she often left about half of it untouched (it was quite a lot 😲).
There were also occasional snacks, but they seemed to be more on the healthy side, so my wife didn't consume much of them. Some related photos are shared below.
For reference, each meal for caregivers at Suji Future Maternity Hospital cost 5,000 won. Interestingly, a similar meal at the Suji Postnatal Care Center cost 10,000 won. Those planning to use both the Suji Future Maternity Hospital and the Suji Postnatal Care Center might want to keep this in mind.
